KIDS HELPING KIDS

Young Hearts. Big Impact.

Kids Helping Kids gives young people opportunities to discover that they do not have to wait until adulthood to make a meaningful difference in another child's life.

Children can change their communities too.

Kids Helping Kids is built around a simple idea: young people should have opportunities to experience what it means to help someone else.

Through age-appropriate service activities, children can take part in preparing donations, collecting supplies, supporting outreach projects and participating in other activities that benefit children and families.

These experiences can help young people understand that generosity is not only about money. Time, effort, kindness, creativity and compassion can all make an impact.

Why Kids Helping Kids?

When a child helps another child, service becomes something they can understand personally.

It gives young people an opportunity to practice compassion, generosity, responsibility and leadership while seeing how their actions can positively affect another person.

Those lessons can continue long after a single volunteer project has ended.

Service can teach lessons that last.

Age-appropriate community service can give children meaningful opportunities to practice important values while contributing to something larger than themselves.
